Stay safe with these tips:

Keep your front and back doors locked before answering.

Do not let strangers inside your home, even if they seem friendly.

Avoid showing cash or valuables near the door.

If you feel uncomfortable, you can politely decline and close the door.

Call a trusted family member or neighbour if you’re unsure.

Report anything suspicious to the police on 101 or 999 in an emergency.
